DPF - Dépôts Pétroliers de Fos
The strategic location of DPF – Dépôts Pétroliers de Fos SA – has made this independent depot, created in 1970, one of the major stakeholders for imports in Southern Europe. Its installations connected to the wharfs at Marseille Fos enable the mass receipt of refined products via Panamax vessels.
Thanks to multimodal dispatch methods available 24 hours a day, via sea, river, rail, road and pipeline, DPF transits close to 8 million m³ per year (dispatched volume) with a total storage capacity of 860,000 m³ assigned to oil products including engine diesel, non road diesel, petrols SP98 - E5 - E10, domestic fuel, heating fuel, heavy fuels, biofuels (EMAG, Ethanol), and chemical products of type MTBE/ETBE.
DPF is innovative and proactive and best responds to the expectations of clients by adapting to change such as ternary blending, bio-fuels, and super ethanol.
Confronted with the challenges of sustainable development, DPF has invested in geothermics and solar energy so as to reduce its carbon footprint.
As a dynamic stakeholder on the oil market, DPF remains an essential link in the logistics and distribution chain of refined products in the south of France, Switzerland and Western Mediterranean.
